Manikins

(7 Days-a-Week Access)

Eligible MLACases Members (Sapphire, Aqua & Diamond) benefit from access to State-of-the-Art Manikin Practise Rooms based in Manchester.

As a Smart Manikin Pass (SMP) holder, you can come in anytime from 11am until closing (6pm or 6.30pm). Simply present your SMP upon arrival at reception. Inside you will find all of the Examination, Procedure, Teaching and High Fidelity Manikins (SimMan / SimWoman) assessed in UKMLA - PLAB 2.

SMP validity is until the agreed end date of your 10-day practical programme.

The education center is conveniently located on Manchester’s Curry Mile, with restaurants, shops and excellent public transport nearby. Affordable student accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre is also available.

Attend a structured 10-day face-to-face practical programme in Manchester, delivered by experienced NHS doctor PLAB 2 tutors and covering the key practical aspects of UKMLA PLAB 2, including High-Fidelity Manikin (SimMan® / SimWoman®), Examinations, Procedures, Prescriptions and Supervised Group Practice.

The 10-day practical programme runs twice each month.

(F2F 16-Station Mocks Replicating the Exam Experience)

F2F Mocks are held on the final Saturday

of the 10-day practical programme.

Put your preparation into practice in a realistic 16-station mock designed to replicate the UKMLA PLAB 2 exam experience.

Familiarise yourself with the exam environment, practise with experienced British simulators, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and receive detailed feedback from experienced NHS PLAB 2 tutors.
