Manikins

(6 Days-a-Week Access)

Eligible MLACases Members (Sapphire, Aqua & Diamond) benefit from Unlimited Access to our State-of-the-Art Manikin Practise Rooms at PLABGuide Academy, based in Manchester.

As a Lifetime Smart Manikin Pass (SMP) holder, you can come in anytime from 10am to 6pm every day (except Sunday) to practise with the manikins. Simply present your SMP upon arrival at reception. Inside you will find all of the Examination, Procedure, Teaching and High Fidelity Manikins (SimMan / SimWoman) assessed in UKMLA - PLAB 2.

SMP validity is lifelong so if you're unable to clear PLAB 2 in this attempt, the SMP covers you should you need manikin access to freshen up your practical skills before your next attempt. You can also use it when preparing for other exams, such as the Clinical Assessment (CA) for the UK Foundation Programme.

There is ample space for “library” study, a kitchen, and nearby accommodation facilities optimised for PLAB 2 doctors are offered.

Manikin Access is Available 6 Days a Week (closed Sundays).
